GaugeShield Trackside Lubricator

Trackside lubricator for precise gauge face grease application.

Trackside Lubricator

GaugeShield is an intelligent trackside system that senses the passing of train wheels over the systems durable sensors and automatically dispenses a controlled quantity of grease to the gauge face of the rail.

Designed for precise grease application, easy maintenance and functionality, the GaugeShield system has a customisable pump and control system with higher resolution that outputs less grease than other gauge face applicators, resulting in reduced consumption and operating costs. The lubricator itself requires very little maintenance and equipped with sensors to capture the condition of the system at all times.

A metal utility box with a hinged door sits on gravel near a railway track. The box, marked as an RS Clare Trackside Lubricator, is grey with a black and yellow striped caution border along its edges. Dense green foliage is visible in the background.
