RS CLARE PRESENT AT NETWORK RAIL MANAGEMENT CONFERENCE 2016
On Wednesday 23rd November 2016, Network Rail held a National Rail Management Conference to focus on best practices to maintain the rail track network. As leaders in rail lubrication, RS Clare were invited to talk about lubrication developments.
Our Divisional Manager for Rail, Christopher Johnson gave a very informative presentation on the exciting new technologies RS Clare have developed in rail greases and in terms of temperature stability and pumpability, and showed a case study where this technology solved the problem for a customer needing to pump grease up to 600m through narrow pipes before reaching the grease distribution bars.
One of the highlights of the presentation focussed on our new Claretech EcoCurve rail grease range which performs consistently well across a wide range of temperatures to ensure that the rail industry can use one grease for all seasons, typiaclluy -40 to +120 degrees Celsius. Christopher was able to demonstrate modern laboratory techniques have been used to fine tune the pumpability performance and flow characteristics of the new EcoCurve Range of Rail Lubricants which not only carry down long distances and reduce rail wear, but also come with Eco Label environmental credentials.
At RS Clare we enjoy speaking and educating at these events with our close partners and we would like to thanks Network Rail for this opportunity.
