RS Clare is proud to announce a new charity partnership with the Women’s Health Information & Support Centre, known across Liverpool as WHISC. The partnership reflects a shared commitment to community wellbeing, and it builds on RS Clare’s wider corporate social responsibility work. RS Clare has donated £500 to support WHISC’s vital work.

WHISC services
WHISC provides a broad range of support across both physical and mental health, ensuring women have somewhere to turn during difficult times.
- Mediation for women navigating conflict or difficult circumstances.
- Menopause support to guide women through a significant life stage.
- Breast awareness education and guidance.
- Gynaecological health information and support.
- Mental health support for those struggling with their wellbeing.
- Exercise sessions to promote physical health.
- A craft group focused on wellbeing and connection.
Since losing its premises in March 2026, WHISC has continued to deliver every one of these services in an outreach capacity. The charity has adapted to challenging circumstances, without pausing the support that so many women depend on.

RS Clare employees visit WHISC
To mark the start of this partnership, RS Clare colleagues Elaine Littlewood, Sustainability & Improvement Manager, and Paula Morris, HR Manager, visited the WHISC team to see the organisation’s services first-hand. The day showed exactly why WHISC’s work matters so much to the women who rely on it.
On the day of the visit, WHISC was open from 9 am to 3:30 pm, welcoming women to utilise the full range of WHISC’s services in a single day.
The WHISC team reflected on the day, “Yesterday reminded all of why this work matters so much. Women came in and felt able to share their stories, some for the first time, and share some of the feeling back. As the day really did make a difference…”
One woman described the lasting impact of the support she received:
“WHISC has helped me to navigate the most difficult time in my life. The support and the care that they have shown me, especially when family haven’t been there to help… WHISC, thank you for all my heart, that you have been a saving grace for me and other people who need you.”
Another woman shared:
“WHISC has been a lifeline for me, and so many other women. The staff are so welcoming and kind, offering support, no matter the issue.”
WHISC offers more than information and clinical guidance. The charity provides genuine human connection at moments when women have nowhere else to turn.
What does this partnership mean for the future?
RS Clare is committed to supporting WHISC and intends to help the organisation to continue delivering its services and, in time, support the charity as it works toward securing a permanent home once again.
