Employee Giving to Support Trussell Trust and Salvation Army

Christmas can be a difficult time for families and this Christmas, the RS Clare team’s charity of choice was the Trussell Trust, a nationwide network of foodbanks providing emergency food and support to people locked in poverty. Last year, food banks in the Trussell Trust network provided a record 1.9 million emergency food parcels to people in crisis, with more than half a million of these going to children and it’s estimated that this winter, every 9 seconds an emergency food parcel will be given to people in crisis.
