RS Clare was privileged to sponsor Henshaws‘ annual children’s party in Liverpool through a £1,000 donation. A representative from our team had the honour of attending the event, witnessing first-hand the positive and inclusive environment Henshaws cultivates for children with visual impairments and their families.
A day of festive activities
The event was structured to provide a comprehensive and memorable experience for all attendees, with several activities:
- Crafting stations: the children participated in making “reindeer food,” an activity that engaged their creativity.
- Party games: classic games like pass-the-parcel to ensure inclusivity and widespread participation.
- Festive treats: attendees enjoyed “reindeer hot chocolate” while taking part in a fun competition to name a large toy elf.
- Visit to Santa’s grotto: the highlight for many was a visit to Santa’s grotto, where each child received a large bag of presents.
