RS CLARE OFFER TO SUPPORT ALSTOM'S TRAINING ACADEMY

At the recent Annual Dinner of the Liverpool Region’s Local Enterprise Partnership, Mike Hulme of Alstom announced a £68m investment in Widnes to build a Training Academy for apprentice recruits into the Rail Industry.

R S Clare have run training programmes for in excess of 100 Network Rail lubrication engineers to optimise the lubrication of rail tracks with benefits for both parties. In congratulating Mike Hulme on this significant investment, Ian Meadows, Clare’s Chairman offered to make the programme available to the Training Academy too.

Clare’s market leading curved rail lubricants are used throughout Network Rail, London Underground and in both New York and Chicago subways to reduce friction and wear, and to reduce noise.
