As part of our ongoing commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), RS Clare was proud to support our local community through several initiatives this Christmas.
Our festive CSR activities included:
- Salvation Army Christmas Appeal: We hosted an employee raffle that raised £450 to support families in need during the festive season.
- Cash4Kids and Maggie’s Toy Collections: Our team contributed many toys for these local charities during December, ensuring children and families facing hardship received gifts. A big thank you to one of our partners, Tails in the City, for supporting our toy donation and adding many toys to the collection.
- Chocolate Orange Appeal: Our team participated in the Chocolate Orange Appeal in Liverpool (and nationwide), donating Terry’s Chocolate Oranges to hospital staff and key workers as a small gesture of appreciation for their tireless work. One recipient, Libby Chamberlain, a key worker at Mersey and West Lancashire NHS hospital, shared her thanks after receiving the Chocolate Oranges from Lynn Dyer, who is part of the Sonography team in the Maternity unit and the wife of one of our RS Clare team members. Libby said,
“This is a lovely thought from your husband’s company, please tell them thank you!”
These efforts are a cornerstone of our CSR policy, which is built on supporting local charities, investing in education, driving sustainability and innovation. We are dedicated to making a positive impact, especially in the local community, and a lasting impact beyond our business operations.
