RS Clare Cycle to Work Week

RS Clare & Co.

At RS Clare, a healthy, happy workforce is key to a thriving business. That’s why we’ve been participating in our company Cycle to Work Week from Tuesday, August 27th, to Friday, August 30th. With our largest company uptake in participation to date, we’d like to take the opportunity to thank all staff members for getting involved.

Bike Maintenance

We are spoilt for choice in the area around our head office in Liverpool, with 3 bicycle repair shops within a 400-metre walking distance.

As a company that knows about the importance of friction management, we offer complimentary premium “wet lube” chain lubrication that should be good for circa 500 miles to our colleagues.

Cycle Storage

We’re fortunate to have three bicycle repair shops within a short 400-metre walk from our site, so help is always close at hand. Just in time for Cycle to Work Week, we’ve also recently refurbished our bike shed as part of broader site improvements:

  • LED lighting
  • Structural upgrades
  • Enhanced bike security
  • Upgraded entry system

Cycle to Work Scheme

We’re also proud to offer our employees access to the Cycle to Work scheme, a fantastic initiative that promotes physical well-being and helps participants save money on their commute. Whether you’re a seasoned cyclist or just starting, the scheme makes it easier than ever to get your hands on a new bike – including electric bikes – and enjoy all the benefits that come with it.

What makes the Cycle to Work scheme so special? Here are the key benefits:

  • Save between 32% and 47% on new cycling equipment
  • Spread the cost over 12 months
  • Flexibility to choose what you need
  • Unbeatable choice at Halfords and Tredz
  • Exclusive Cycle2Work benefits

A Win-Win: Health and Financial Savings

Cycling is a great way to improve your fitness, reduce stress, and boost your mental health. It’s also a fun and eco-friendly way to travel. Since we introduced the scheme in 2018, we’ve helped 14 of our colleagues get new bikes, and we’d love to see even more of our team take advantage of this fantastic benefit.

All this is designed to make it as easy as possible to ride their bikes to work and if you have any suggestions on how we can further improve things, we’d love to hear your thoughts.
