RSF welcomes RS Clare as a partner in raising Rail Safety Awareness

The Rail Safe Friendly (RSF) programme has announced RS Clare & Co as its latest partner to join a growing list of industry supporters dedicated to raising rail safety awareness among young people across the UK.

Rail Safe Friendly, a programme run by Learn Live, aims to educate children about the dangers of trespassing on railways through engaging digital content delivered directly to schools.

Since its launch in March 2023, the programme has reached over 3 million young people across more than 11,000 schools, helping to keep young people safe near railway environments.

Stuart Heaton, Managing Director of Learn Live and Rail Safe Friendly, commented on this milestone:

“We are pleased to welcome RS Clare & Co on board the Rail Safe Friendly programme.

“It shows the collective commitment of the rail industry to making railway safety education accessible to young people across the country. We are thrilled to have RS Clare & Co on board and look forward to continuing our mission to protect young people from the dangers of railway trespass.”

Their support means that we will be able to reach many more young people in delivering vital rail safety education in order to prevent injuries and save lives.”

David Meadows, MD at RS Clare commented on the partnership: “At RS Clare, safety is at the heart of everything we do, and we are proud to support the Rail Safe Friendly programme in its mission to protect young people across the UK.

By raising awareness of the dangers surrounding railways, this initiative aligns perfectly with our commitment to protecting lives and ensuring the long-term sustainability of the rail industry.”
