Two nominations recognise the company’s long-standing role in North West manufacturing.

RS Clare has been shortlisted for the Outstanding Contribution Award at Insider’s Made in the North West Awards 2026. The award, organised by Insider Media, forms part of a programme that celebrates excellence in manufacturing across the North West region.

RS Clare has also secured a place on the shortlist for Manufacturer of the Year (over £25m), a category sponsored by Barclays. The two nominations reflect the company’s continued investment in specialist lubricants, alongside its established position within the regional manufacturing sector.

RS Clare has been manufacturing on the same site in central Liverpool since 1770 – over 250 years. As an established business in Liverpool for around 278 years, RS Clare is Liverpool’s oldest manufacturing company and a longstanding contributor to industry in the UK and across the globe.

The Made in the North West Awards bring together innovative and fast-growing businesses from across the region. Category winners will progress to Insider’s national Made in the UK Awards, one of the country’s largest manufacturing awards events.

The shortlists were assessed by an independent panel of industry experts prior to the final judging stage.

What’s next
Winners will be announced at a black-tie dinner and ceremony on Thursday 1st October 2026 at the Titanic Hotel in Liverpool. Further updates on RS Clare’s participation will be shared through the company’s news channels ahead of the event.
