On Tuesday 3rd January our Head of Marine Lubricants Richard Crombie and Head of Bimagrip Steve Greathead presented to an enthusiastic audience at Mersey Maritime. We have played an active role with Mersey Maritime for a number of years and were very honored to be able to talk about our business and how we contribute to the global marine industry.
Richard Crombie discussed how our marine lubricants protect vessel equipment in extreme conditions due to it’s resistant to salt water, humidity, variations in temperature and high shock loads. Our BioMarine range of marine greases has been granted the EU Ecolabel and is VGP (Vessel General Permit) compliant.
Steve Greathead presented about the main benefits of using Bimagrip, our anti-skid safe surfacing solution on the ramps of PCTCs (PureCar/Truck Carriers) and RoRo (Roll-On/Roll-Off) vessels. These benefits include Faster loading/unloading, reduced maintenance and reduced skid accidents.
Bimagrip is currently used by some of the largest ship builders in the world and it was great for Richard and Steve to be able to tell our story here on Merseyside, and we’d like to thank Mersey Maritime for inviting us to their maritime hub.
