RS Clare has been honoured with the prestigious Chair’s Award at the 2025 Liverpool Chamber Innovation in Business Awards. The recognition celebrates the company’s long-standing contribution to the Liverpool business community, our record of innovation, and our continued global growth.

Presenting the award, Chamber Chair Alison Lobb praised RS Clare’s heritage and continued innovation, saying:
“They’ve never stood still. From a state-of-the-art Technical Centre to their biggest-ever investment, a £3.5 million grease plant right here in Liverpool, they’re creating jobs, driving innovation, and shaping the future. And beyond business, their heart for community shines through, including supporting Ukrainian families and helping them build new lives here in the aftermath of the conflict.”

Accepting the award, RS Clare’s Managing Director David Meadows said:
“On behalf of everyone at RS Clare, I’m deeply honoured to accept the Chair’s Award. For 275 years, our company has been rooted in Liverpool, and innovation has always been at the heart of what we do. A big thank you to the Chamber for the role they have played in supporting us and the wider Liverpool business community, and much appreciation to our incredible team at RS Clare. We’re proud to be a part of this city’s legacy, and even prouder to help shape its future.”
The Chair’s Award recognises businesses that embody innovation, resilience and a lasting commitment to Liverpool. For RS Clare, it highlights not only 275 years of continuous operation but also the company’s continued investment in people, technology and community.
