RS Clare recently supported children’s charity, ‘Happy Days’ with providing a day trip to Blackpool for a number of Year 5 and 6 primary school children from a local school in Liverpool.
The children visited the Blackpool Pleasure Beach, which has numerous rollercoasters and other fairground rides, including the UK’s only Nickelodeon land.
RS Clare support various charitable organisations and particularly like to support local people in need. Therefore, it was extremely rewarding for the company to receive such a lovely response from the children that attended the trip, who clearly had a wonderful day at the Blackpool Pleasure Beach. Here’s what some of them had to say, following the trip…
One child wrote, “It takes a gigantic heart to take such a big step to give a random school money, and without your help, I wouldn’t be able to go on the icon and all the other rides that I got to enjoy!”
Another child wrote, “I can’t thank you enough for this trip. No feelings or emotions could express this flabbergasting thing that me and my class got to participate in this life changing event.”
One child commented, “I have never gone to Pleasure Beach before so thank you for letting me have the experience of riding a rollercoaster. I have had the most fun in my life! I can’t thank you enough for making my dreams come true.”
The Happy Days charity really makes a difference to children’s lives, arranging special days out for individual families, SEN schools and in conjunction with other national charities. They support almost 25,000 children with additional needs every year, removing barriers to give them a chance to get out, make new friends, develop new skills, and build confidence.
