Effective 1st January 2018, the Bimagrip business of R.S. Clare and Co. Ltd. has been acquired through a management buy-out (MBO) by Beegrip Ltd.
Over several decades, Bimagrip has become globally recognised as a leader in cost-effective, anti-skid surfacing in both Marine and Civil Engineering sectors. Established applications include the decks of passenger car and truck carrying vessels, roll-on roll-off vessels, link-spans and bridges.
Beegrip Ltd has been established by Mr. Steven Greathead, the former Divisional Manager for the Coatings business at R.S. Clare and the business (including manufacturing) is based in The United Kingdom.
Whilst R.S. Clare has taken the strategic decision to focus on other markets, the decision to proceed with this divestment option was primarily based on providing continuity of product and service to a valued customer base.
