The Abu Dhabi Marine Operating Company (ADMA-OPCP) is a major producer of oil and gas from the offshore areas of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. They pride themselves on being a pioneering petroleum company in that part of the world, having completed over 50 years of oil and gas production.

It was proposed by the Well Integrity Team to run a trial using RS Clare’s Valve Sealant 701, in an attempt to restore the integrity of the valves and enable an intervention to reduce the risk rank of the wells.
The Zakum Field already had a contract with RS Clare to supply Valve Lubricant 601, and since this trial they have expanded this contract to include the procurement of Valve Sealant 701 to seal the valves that suffer from acute leakage problems.
