Valve Sealant 701 is a specially formulated heavy duty valve sealant.  In full scale valve testing, it has been proven to seal a severely passing gate valve.  701 is fully resistant to all types of produced hydrocarbons, and also to high levels of H₂S and CO₂.

701 physical texture and high metal adhesion promotes extended cavity retention.  701 also has enhanced lubricating properties, to protect the sealing surfaces during further functioning of the valve under high differential pressure.

701 has been tested in an API 6A gate valve, with a severely damaged seat component, cut to a depth of 1.5mm/0.06".  701 was able to hold 5000 psi, the pressure limit of the valve.  Note, a leading valve sealant was tested alongside 701, in the same test this sealant would not even assist the valve to pressure up.  A test report is available upon request.
