Noel Patterson, who joined the company some 18 months ago as Sales Director with responsibility for the Oil & Gas Division, has been promoted Commercial Director effective January 1st, and now sits on the Main Board.
After a career with Pirelli Cables, much of it abroad where he was ultimately Managing Director of the company’s New Zealand subsidiary, he joined RSC in June 2010. He hit the ground running and through motivation and example enthused the Oil & Gas Sales Force. In a short time he stepped into the breech left by the untimely illness of a colleague, and took on responsibility for all of the Companies sales and marketing activities.
Over the past 12 months, the number of active customers in the O&G Division have doubled and sales have increased by nearly a third, and profitability has increased across the board.
Noel and his team are bullish about prospects in 2012.
